Job summary

El Camino Health seeks a Revenue Integrity Analyst to maintain the Charge Description Master (CDM) and support broader revenue integrity functions. You will ensure accurate charge capture and compliant billing by applying coding knowledge and reviewing documentation in the EHR.

The role involves CPT/HCPCS coding, UB-04 coding, pricing validation, and collaboration with clinical, IT, and Revenue Cycle teams to minimize denials and optimize revenue capture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, HIM, or Healthcare-related field preferred.
• 3 years combined experience in hospital CDM management, charge capture, or revenue integrity roles.
• Experience interpreting clinical documentation in the EHR and applying coding principles to support accurate billing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Epic (or comparable EHR/CDM systems).

Responsibilities

• Maintain CDM for all required elements, including CPT/HCPCS coding, UB-04 Revenue Codes, and pricing.
• Review and resolve NCCI and MUE edits with coding, clinical, and billing teams.
• Read and interpret clinical documentation in the EHR to validate submitted charges.
• Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to ensure CDM changes integrate with front-end tools.
