Job summary

Fairview Health Services invites applications for a fully remote Revenue Integrity Charge Description Master (CDM) Analyst. You will leverage Epic knowledge and data analysis to maintain the CDM, ensure compliant charge capture, and optimize reimbursement across the health system.

The role emphasizes collaboration across departments, education of staff, and driving system improvements with a flexible schedule and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; four years of applicable experience may substitute.
• 3 years of applicable Revenue Cycle experience.
• Epic Resolute Certification(s) within 1 year (Hosp Billing or Professional Billing)

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth analysis of charging workflows in Epic systems.
• Co-develop business requirements to optimize CDM and workflows.
• Ensure accurate, compliant charge capture and coding outcomes.
• Create educational materials for staff and processes.
• Research CPT/HCPCS coding and regulatory requirements for CDM setup.
• Update CDM to generate clean claims and expected payments.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure CDM data accuracy.
• Conduct service line quality reviews to identify gaps and improvements.
• Analyze data, summarize findings, and support leadership decisions.
• Develop and maintain visuals/reports for Revenue Integrity.
• Act as SME for charge application process and system functionality.
• Keep up to date with ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS changes.
