Duke Health in Durham, NC is seeking an analytical Revenue Integrity professional to support the Charge Description Master (CDM) team. You will review pre-bill accounts flagged by Epic Revenue Guardian edits and enter missing HB charges based on supporting documentation, reducing revenue leakage.

You will analyze documentation, prepare monthly reports, and collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to drive accurate coding and reimbursement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, management, healthcare administration, nursing or other related degree.
• 3 years of coding-related experience required.
• Charge capture, reporting and analysis experience preferred.
• Medicare/Medicaid regulations and Revenue Cycle experience.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to analyze large data sets.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct quality control audits to ensure data integrity and track accounts for Revenue Guardian edits.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert to leadership on Revenue Integrity issues.
• Prepare monthly reports and educational presentations for clinical departments and Revenue Manager teams.
• Follow up with health team members to ensure accurate documentation in medical records.
• Review charges and payments for accuracy from contracted payers and manage appeals process.
• Perform other duties incidental to the work described herein.
