Job summary

You will review pre-bill accounts flagged by Epic Revenue Guardian edits and enter missing hospital charges based on documentation, helping reduce revenue leakage and improve accuracy.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of coding-related experience, and coding certifications (CPC/CCS/RHIA/RHIT).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, healthcare administration or related field.
• 3 years of experience related to coding required.
• Coding certifications (CPC/CCS/RHIA/RHIT) required.
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing, coding and documentation.
• Revenue cycle experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review pre-bill accounts flagged by Epic Revenue Guardian edits.
• Enter missing hospital charges based on supporting documentation.
• Analyze charge capture opportunities and determine corrections.
• Develop strategies to implement new Revenue Guardian edits to reduce leakage.
• Prepare monthly reports and present findings to leadership.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure proper documentation.
