Avid Healthcare Management is seeking aCertified Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department in Hadley, MA. You will oversee menu planning, food preparation, and distribution while supervising staff to ensure high-quality nutrition services for residents and patients.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a CDM or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe.
• At least 1 year of experience in dietary services or a related field.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents and colleagues.
• Solid organizational and multitasking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dietary department, including menu planning, food prep, and distribution.
• Manage and supervise dietary staff, including training, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives for dining experiences.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide nutrition counseling and education.
• Conduct administrative tasks, such as budgeting, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
• Maintain accurate records for food production and inventory.
