Responsibilities

• Safely operate a yard truck to move trailers and containers within the yard.
• Back trailers into dock doors and position trailers per operations needs.
• Transport trailers between facilities up to five miles away via public roads.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard equipment and trailers.
• Identify and report equipment defects, safety hazards, and incidents promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of trailer locations and movements.
• Communicate movement requests and equipment availability with teams.
