Job summary

US Foods is hiring a Yard Jockey CDL in Tampa, FL. The role involves coordinating with dispatch, ensuring trailers are ready and safely moved between locations, and supporting nightly shuttle operations. CDL Class A with endorsements and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Must read and communicate in English.
• Minimum six months commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must have valid CDL Class A with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Dispatchers for assignments and work with mechanics on equipment needs.
• Ensure equipment is coupled, ready for use, and prepared for nightly shuttle operations.
• Safely relocate, load, and unload trailers between buildings and environments.
• Configure trailers for backhaul and position them for quick unloading.
• Attend required meetings and adapt to additional duties as necessary.
