McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Yard Driver (JR111755) to support trailer movement at the distribution center and prepare trailers for shipping. You must have a Class A CDL and be able to operate on a 2nd shift starting at 7 pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Two years driving experience and 100,000-mile tractor-trailer experience desired.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor, position trailer, and attach lines to secure loads.
• Clean and spot trailers at doors or lot locations.
• Inspect trailers for defects; perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Check loaded trailers to ensure product safety and refrigeration operation; report issues.
• Operate within yard and on nearby roads, following regulations.
• Meet the physical demands of the role.
• Load/unload and deliver products as ordered by customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
