Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at work level for safety and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hours deliveries.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver log per DOT regulations and document delivery receipts.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
