Primoris Renewable Energy, part of Primoris Services Corporation, is seeking a skilled CDL Water Truck Driver for the Desert Pine BESS project. You will operate water trucks to suppress dust, assist in soil compaction, and support construction activities while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, daily reports, and coordination with supervisors and crew.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating water trucks on construction or industrial sites.
• Off-road driving experience and uneven terrain familiarity preferred.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local trucking regulations.
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, in varying weather conditions.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Operate water trucks safely and efficiently on construction sites, including off-road and uneven terrain.
• Control dust on active construction areas, haul roads, and access points using water spray.
• Apply water for soil compaction as directed by supervisors and engineers.
• Monitor water levels and replenish as needed from designated sources.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete daily vehicle inspection reports.
• Identify and report maintenance issues or mechanical problems with the truck.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and traffic laws.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment around the vehicle.
• Assist with other general labor duties on site as needed.
