Shirley Contracting Company is seeking a Water Truck CDL Driver to join our team across multiple Virginia sites. You will operate a water truck, comply with DOT regulations, and support field projects on busy construction sites starting at 6:00 AM with overtime possible.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and background checks.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• Manual transmission preferred.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in 7 years.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screening.
• Ability to pass background checks for secure access.
• Willing to perform manual labor to support projects.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicle in varied conditions, including construction sites in Virginia.
• Follow DOT rules and maintain logs.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance.
• Work with team and adapt to overtime/weekends.
• Support projects with manual labor tasks.
