Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a dependable Driver to join our waste management team in Texas. This hands-on role involves operating garbage trucks, collecting waste and recyclables, and delivering courteous service to customers.

You will perform daily vehicle inspections, load materials, and follow safety and DOT regulations. A valid CDL and reliable attendance are required; prior waste management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required.
• Commercial driving or waste management experience preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Strong safety awareness and punctuality.
• Excellent customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate garbage trucks safely and efficiently.
• Physically collect and load waste and recyclables.
• Transport materials along assigned routes.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
• Secure loads per DOT regulations.
• Work as part of a two-person crew.
• Maintain route logs, mileage, and disposal records.
• Follow safety policies and traffic laws.
• Report vehicle issues and accidents immediately.
• Provide courteous service to customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading when needed.
