Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions in Tyler, TX is seeking a CDL Driver to join our waste management team. You will operate a collection truck on assigned routes, ensuring timely service and safe handling of waste and recycling materials.

The role requires a Class B or higher CDL with air brakes, at least 2 years of CDL experience, and a minimum age of 21. We offer weekly pay, comprehensive health plans, retirement with company match, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement (REQUIRED).
• 2 years of CDL driving (REQUIRED).
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years
• CDL Class A/B

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a collection truck to collect waste and/or recycling along a designated route and transfer to a disposal site.
• Work closely with Dispatch, your Supervisor, and the rest of the driver team to service our customers on different routes and schedules.
• Load/unload waste and/or recycling materials at landfills, recycling centers, or similar facilities.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspection of your vehicle to ensure the truck is in proper working order and address maintenance issues quickly.
• Follow all required safety policies and report any safety or employee experience issues to leadership.
