Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver in Jacksonville, TX. You will operate a waste hauling truck, lift and deposit residential waste into a compactor, and remain safety-conscious on and off the road.

The role requires at least 1 year of verifiable Class B driving experience and a CDL A/B. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule, 10–12 hour shifts, and a safety-driven team environment with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class B driving experience required.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• No more than one moving violation on MVR within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a waste hauling truck within approximately 150 miles of home.
• Completes daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complies with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Lifts and carries residential waste and deposits it into a compactor.
• Inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and reports preventative maintenance needs to the management team.
• Reports any defects, accidents, or violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
