Job summary

Lakeshore Waste Services (LRS) is seeking a Lead Driver with a valid Class B CDL for Indiana operations. You will oversee daily route execution, supervise fellow drivers, ensure DOT safety compliance, and maintain logs while coordinating with Dispatch to optimize routes.

As a lead driver, you will train new drivers, adjust schedules, and ensure on-time service with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class B CDL and DOT medical card.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States (per requirement).
• Ability to read and speak English well for safety and communications.
• Experience coordinating routes and drivers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive a commercial vehicle to service routes as assigned.
• Lead and coordinate a team of drivers; assist with scheduling and coverage.
• Maintain driver logs and safety compliance per DOT and company policy.
• Communicate with Dispatch and Route Manager to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and checkout processes.
