Job summary

GFL is seeking a professional truck driver to operate container delivery trucks and supporting equipment along assigned routes. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, document route activity, and communicate any vehicle issues to supervisors and mechanics.

Maintain accurate records and comply with all safety policies while delivering and removing refuse containers. The role requires a valid CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and prior driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate container delivery truck and on-board hydraulic systems to deliver and remove dumpsters.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections, daily truck reports and route sheets.
• Report mechanical issues to supervisor and mechanic immediately.
• Maintain route quality standards as set by management.
• Keep yard inventory orderly and ensure containers are placed correctly at customer sites.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear required PPE at all times.
