Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a Driver to operate container delivery trucks and related equipment on assigned routes, delivering and removing solid waste dumpster containers safely and efficiently. The role emphasizes safety, routine inspections, and accurate documentation to support reliable service for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate container delivery truck and on-board hydraulics to deliver/remove dumpsters.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor/mechanic promptly.
• Maintain route quality and inventory on yard.
• Ensure proper container placement and lid coverage during transport.
• Adhere to safety policies, regulations, and company directives.
• Attend safety and branch meetings and support routing efficiency.
