Job summary

GFL Industries in Texas is seeking a Driver to operate container delivery trucks and related equipment on an assigned route, delivering and removing solid waste dumpster containers and ensuring safe, compliant operation. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete daily reports, and communicate issues promptly.

Requirements include a valid CDL and a high school diploma or GED, plus at least one year of driving experience or a CDL school certificate.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
Minimum of one (1) year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school completion.
Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate container delivery truck and on-board hydraulic systems on assigned route.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
Communicate mechanical problems to supervisor or mechanic immediately.
Maintain route quality standards and inventory on yard.
Position containers to minimize hazards and ensure lids are in place during transport.
Follow safety policies, procedures, and federal/state/local regulations.
