Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is hiring for a CDL driver to operate a fully automated side loading truck on assigned routes. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, document route activity, and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor and mechanic.

The role requires a valid CDL, 2+ years of driving experience or CDL school completion, and strict adherence to safety and company policies. The driver will maintain route quality, communicate effectively with customers and team members,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL required or candidate has CDL school certificate.
• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience, or CDL training completed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a fully automated side loading truck on defined routes.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports daily.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical issues to supervisor and mechanic promptly.
• Maintain route quality standards as directed by management.
• Adhere to safety rules, vehicle operation laws, and company policy.
• Maintain a clean vehicle interior and exterior and keep logs up to date.
