Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL(B) Driver to safely operate a collection truck and perform waste removal services for customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete daily VCRs, and maintain timely service on assigned routes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to safely operate a heavy refuse truck on designated routes.
• Good communication and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
• Safely operate the truck along your route and serve customers on schedule.
• Load refuse, operate the packer, and dispose of material at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Maintain productivity reports and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Adhere to safety policies and company standards at all times.
