Job summary

Airgas seeks a Warehouse Associate/Backup Local Delivery Driver in Ceres, CA. You will manage inventory, operate forklifts, and perform route deliveries of atmospheric and flammable gases to customers. CDL with Hazmat and safety compliance are required, along with lifting and physical duties.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B with Hazmat endorsement or able to obtain within 90 days
• Airbrake endorsements are required/preferred
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card and endorsements
• No more than two traffic convictions or at-fault accidents in last 3 years
• No DUI within last seven years
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment
• Able to lift 75lbs regularly and move over 125lbs with assistance
• 1 year CDL driving experience in last 5 years or trucking school certificate in last 12 months

Responsibilities

• Warehouse and inventory logistics: receive, label, stock, and organize incoming goods; conduct regular audits; pick/pack orders; verify invoices
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment; load/unload service trucks; conduct route deliveries of gases
• Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and comply with regulations including DOT; perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
• Prepare delivery documentation and maintain customer relationships at delivery locations
