Job summary

Airgas is hiring for a Warehouse Associate/Backup Local Delivery Driver at our Hanford, CA facility. The role focuses on safe handling of industrial gases, inventory integrity, and delivering to customers with accuracy and professionalism.

The position requires CDL driving with HazMat and Airbrake endorsements, forklift operations, and adherence to safety and DOT regulations. Benefits include a strong package and opportunities for growth within Airgas.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Airbrake endorsements or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Valid driver0s license, medical card and endorsements
• No more than two traffic convictions, or one conviction and one at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• Regularly able to lift 75 lbs and move 125+ lbs with equipment
• 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or trucking school completion within last 12 months

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, stock, and organize incoming gases, supplies, and hard-goods; perform regular inventory audits
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and vehicles to deliver products to customers
• Adhere to all safety protocols and DOT regulations; conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
• Ensure accurate delivery documentation and maintain strong customer relations at delivery locations
