Job summary

Airgas in Bloomington, IL is hiring a Warehouse/Backup CDL Driver. The role involves stocking and distributing materials, delivering gas cylinders, and operating warehouse equipment. You will work Monday–Friday with a 7:00 am start and home daily, with possible weekend on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL required with ability to obtain hazmat endorsement within 60 days.
• Successful Airgas background and motor vehicle check.
• DOT Clearinghouse verification required from previous employers.
• Ability to lift 25–75 lbs, occasionally 76+ lbs, and work outdoors.
• Maintain a drug-free workplace and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Stock, label, pick, pack, and distribute materials and supplies.
• Receive, check, and store deliveries; perform inventory checks.
• Enforce policies for receipt, storage, and distribution; review invoices.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Deliver compressed and liquid cylinders on scheduled routes to customers.
• Load/unload trucks and return empty cylinders for refilling.
• Maintain vehicle documentation and professional appearance.
