Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is hiring a District Floater-Warehouse/Backup CDL Driver for the Greater St. Louis area. The role reports to PACIFIC, MO or WENTZVILLE, MO, with home daily routes and weekday scheduling.

Responsibilities include loading, delivering high-pressure and cryogenic cylinders, inventory control, and safety compliance, with full benefits and 401(k) matching. Must hold a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement or obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
• DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers required.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs., may lift 76+ lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying temperatures; drug-free.
• Adherence to safety regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Stock, label, pick, pack, and distribute materials and supplies.
• Receive, check, and store delivered materials; conduct inventory checks.
• Enforce policies for receipt, storage, and distribution; review invoices.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Observe safety rules and company policies.
• Deliver compressed and liquid cylinders on a scheduled route to customers.
• Load and unload trucks; retrieve empty cylinders for refilling.
• Maintain vehicle documentation and professional appearance.
