Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Warehouse/Backup CDL Driver in CHAMBLEE, GA. The role involves safe loading, delivery of gas cylinders, and warehouse duties with a home daily route.

You will use forklifts and adhere to DOT safety standards while supporting inventory and staging tasks. Ideal candidates hold a Class A/B CDL with Hazmat or the ability to obtain it within 60 days, and are comfortable outdoor work in variable temperatures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class A or B CDL required.
• Hazmat endorsement or obtain within 60 days.
• DOT background and query checks completed.
• Ability to lift 25–75 lbs, occasionally over 100 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Must pass drug screen and adhere to safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and handle high‑pressure and cryogenic gas cylinders.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Stock, label, pick, pack and distribute materials.
• Maintain vehicle documents and professional appearance.
• Conduct inventory checks and review delivery invoices.
• Deliver cylinders on scheduled routes to customers and return empties.
