Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing seeks highly motivated applicants for the Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) role in Dayton, OH. This on-call, part-time position moves box trucks up to 26 feet and may involve tractors and trailers for CDL A when needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience required.
• 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required.
• Valid Class B CDL required; Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while driving to Penske locations or customer sites.
• Check vehicles for mechanical or safety issues and report to location manager.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage and assist with other tasks as needed.
