Evening availability is required for this casual/on-call, part-time position. Ideal candidates have 2 years of driving experience, a clean DMV record, and a valid Class B CDL, with Class A preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience required.
• 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required.
• Valid Class B CDL required; domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• CDL Class A license preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions is required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required.
• Spanish language not required; English proficiency is required due to DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while driving trucks to Penske locations or customer locations.
• Check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicles.
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
