Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class level must meet the required position level.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years.
• MVR and background check, including a drug screening.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Train students in all areas of trucking/driving and administer tests.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of commercial motor vehicles and air-brake tests.
• Instruct straight-line backing, offset backing, and parking maneuvers.
• Maintain records of student progress and ensure confidentiality.
