Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license with appropriate endorsements (Passenger, Air brakes, Hazmat) required.
• DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.
• Two years of commercial driving experience.
• One year of technical skills in vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Clean driving record: no major accidents within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction to prepare students for CDL exams.
• Administer CDL skills tests and assess student progress with timely feedback.
• Travel between training locations as needed to support program delivery.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure training vehicles meet safety standards.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
