WM (Waste Management) is hiring a Senior Driver in Key West, FL to operate heavy-duty trucks on a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 5:00 a.m. A CDL Class B with air-brake endorsement is required, along with the ability to handle heavy containers and complete daily route documentation.

Qualifications

• 4 years operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving experience within the last 7 years.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
• High School Diploma or GED (accredited) preferred

Responsabilités

• Operates vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements and company standards; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and notes issues for repair.
• Notifies Route Manager of incidents, safety concerns, or service issues.
• Works with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and safety.
• Positions containers on customer properties and ensures proper lid closure and no obstruction.
• Completes route documentation and customer tickets as required.
