Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is seeking CDL drivers in Medley, FL. You will operate heavy-duty trucks to collect waste or recyclables, navigating urban routes with safety first and ensuring on-time pickups.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with air-brake endorsement required.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience with CDL in last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical are required.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle in accordance with WM safety and DOT requirements.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections using DVIR.
• Reports unsafe situations or service issues promptly.
• Attends required training programs and meetings.
• Works with Operations Manager to improve route efficiencies.
• Notifies of incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Notifies of service interruptions and heavy receptacles.
• Communicates customer requests to Dispatch.
• Dumps receptacles and leaves site clean and debris-free.
• Follows route assignments and completes end-of-day documentation.
