I. Job Summary

Safely operates a heavy-duty truck on transfer routes.

II. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle per OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal requirements, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections using DVIR and notes issues for repair.
• Reports unsafe situations or service calls before attempting service.
• Participates in training, briefings, and meetings as required.
• Works with Route Managers to improve efficiency and identify issues.
• Performs duties as scheduled and assists other drivers.
• Notifies of incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Communicates customer requests and issues.
• Ensures containers are dumped properly, clean, and positioned correctly.
• Completes documentation and route check-ins.

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory duties.

IV. Qualifications

• Education: None required.
• Experience: None required.
• Requirements: CDL B, 18+ years old, pass DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and have acceptable driving record.
