Job summary

WM is hiring commercial drivers to operate heavy-duty trucks, hauling waste and recyclables in the Savannah, GA area. A CDL with air-brake endorsement is required, along with at least 1 year of driving experience and the ability to work safely around residential and commercial routes.

Qualifications

• CDL with air-brake endorsement required and clean driving record.
• 1 year CDL driving experience or equivalent military driving in the last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to read, write and speak English well enough for interacting with the public and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks for waste or recycling pickup and transport.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete DVIR documents.
• Back up maneuvers and navigate residential and commercial routes safely.
• Communicate service requests or incidents to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and follow route assignments.
