Job summary

WM (Waste Management) in Orlando, FL is seeking a CDL Class B driver for swing routes. You will safely operate a heavy-duty truck, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and work with Route Managers to deliver reliable waste collection services.

Qualifications

• 2 years operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving experience within the last 7 years
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
• Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
• CDL Class B

Responsibilities

• Operates a heavy-duty truck on swing routes safely and in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company requirements
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and reports issues on the DVIR
• Notifies Route Manager/Dispatch of incidents, unsafe conditions, or service issues
• Works with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and ensure clean dumps and customer locations
• Completes duties as scheduled and maintains proper documentation at end of route
