Job summary

Furst-McNess Company is hiring a full-time CDL Truck Driver for our Lodi, WI location. Local driving routes – home every day with a starting pay of $26+ per hour and overtime eligibility. The role involves operating a company CDL vehicle, loading/unloading, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work Mon-Fri, 40 hours weekly with potential overtime. Requires a Class A CDL, clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Strong safety awareness and customer service mindset.
  • Comfortable with mobile technology, ELDs, and routing applications.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate equipment issues clearly.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., and occasionally handle additional feed bags.

Responsibilities

  • Operate company CDL vehicle according to company schedule to deliver products to customers.
  • Report any problems encountered with delivery or customers to Manager or designee, immediately.
  • Complete occasional overnight trips using sleeper berths.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
  • Load, move, and unload product as required, including use of pallet jacks.
  • Communicate delivery status, delays, or issues using mobile applications.
  • Complete required paperwork, mileage reports, and fuel/receipt documentation.
  • Perform backhauls when required after deliveries.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly equipment and work areas.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety, food safety, and biosecurity procedures.
  • Report vehicle maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Represent Furst-McNess with professionalism and strong customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
