Job summary

CTDI is seeking aCDL Class A driver to join our logistics team in the United States. The role involves inspecting, loading, securing, and delivering cargo with a focus on safety and compliance. You will communicate professionally with customers and support CTDI's service standards.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, ability to obtain a DOT medical card, and at least 2 years of driving experience with a clean record. Flexible shifts and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Follow all Federal/State DOT regulations and safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift

1:00AM - 1:00PM, 4 Days a week, no weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing the company positively.
• Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Requires a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) and appropriate endorsements.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card and maintain a complete US DOT driver qualification file.
• 2+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Possess specialized skills for managing hazardous materials.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 85 lbs., if necessary.
• Flexible shifts with the capability to undertake overnight trips 1-2 nights per week.
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods.
