Job description

CDL Truck Drivers are often required to work outside in all kinds of weather. The ability to understand and communicate information is essential.

Responsibilities

• Required to pass necessary drug tests and background check upon employment, incidents or reasonable suspicion.
• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your vehicle.
• Perform inspections of your vehicle before and after each trip.
• Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean.
• Notify managers of any major maintenance issues.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations.
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in accordance to the weather/road conditions.
• Know and comply with DOT regulations.
• Able to lift heavy loads up to 70lbs.
• Monitoring at job sites, i.e. traffic control, spotting, cleaning job site.
• Make safety a priority at all times by wearing proper protective equipment and adhering to all safety protocols.
• Office work as needed, i.e. filing of daily paperwork, track cards, housekeeping, online training.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required, clean driving record.
