Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic CDL Truck Driver to join the Transportation - Kansas City team. The role focuses on moving goods between sites and ensuring safe, efficient deliveries in MO and IL.

Qualifications

• Three to five years Tractor Trailer driving experience.
• Ability to operate a truck per motor vehicle operations manual in MO and IL.
• Perform heavy manual labor to transport merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods between sites as directed by upper management and transportation supervisor.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance records and operate vehicles in a courteous and safe manner.
• Report unsafe vehicle conditions to District Manager.
• Picks up donated materials from households, collection points, or retail/industrial donors and issues receipts when appropriate.
• Delivers retail shipments/donations to stores and assists in loading/unloading.
• Maintains delivery receipts in accordance with agency policy.
• Must observe all safety regulations set by the state, federal government, and the agency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
