Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic CDL Truck Driver to join the Transportation team in Missouri. This hourly full-time role requires 100% travel and supports our mission, Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years tractor-trailer experience, and must operate in MO and IL with dedication to safety and reliability. Benefits include medical, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Three to five years Tractor Trailer driving experience.
• Ability to operate a truck per motor vehicle operations manual in MO and IL.
• Perform heavy manual labor to transport merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods between sites as directed by management and supervisor.
• Maintain vehicle records and operate safely and courteously.
• Report unsafe vehicle conditions to District Manager.
• PICK up donated materials and issue receipts when appropriate.
• Deliver retail shipments/donations to stores and assist in loading/unloading.
• Maintain delivery receipts per agency policy.
• Observe all safety regulations set by state, federal and agency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
