Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and shape trees to clear powerlines and improve clearance. CDL is required, and work is performed on-site in varied outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities include operating tools, loading and unloading equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient work practices. Pre-employment screening and union participation may apply, with competitive hourly pay and benefits varying by location and tenure.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders, various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while performing demanding work.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be willing to join local union and pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and Splits debris for disposal.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Assists in training new employees and adheres to safety protocols.
