Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate and service heavy equipment used to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines, ensuring safe and efficient work on site.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating crew tasks, using tools such as saws, chippers, sprayers, and winches, and maintaining quality and safety standards while engaging with customers to obtain access and explain work to property owners.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Operates and services equipment such as gasoline, hydraulic tools, power saws, power winches, mower deck, weed whacker, chipper, and sprayers.
• Cleans up and disposes of all debris.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around work area.
• Trains new personnel.
• Keeps informed on new equipment, specs, procedures and company policies.
