Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks an Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment for removing branches and tree material from electrical lines. The role involves coordinating crew tasks, ensuring safety and quality, and maintaining productive operations on site.

The position requires operating various tools and equipment, carrying out debris cleanup, and maintaining strong customer relations while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Operates and services listed equipment as required.
• Cleans up and disposes of debris from job sites.
• Uses hand-tools such as axes, pruners, and other equipment as needed.
• Sprays brush and stumps with herbicides when appropriate.
• Ensures quality and quantity of production meet standards.
• Performs all labor tasks to keep crew operations flowing.
• Maintains safety, quality, and production requirements.
