Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines while operating a range of equipment and maintaining safety and production standards.

Essential duties include operating multiple tools, coordinating crew tasks, and ensuring customer relations. Pre-employment screening and training are part of the process, with CDL or license preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be familiar with the electrical hazard.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pre-Employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check may be required.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines.
• Operates and services equipment such as gasoline-powered tools, power saws, weed whacker, chipper, and sprayers.
• Uses various hand tools including axes, lines, saws and pruners as required.
• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work to ensure safety and production.
• Trains new personnel and ensures crew safety and customer relations.
• Keeps informed on equipment specs and company procedures.
