Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber in Colorado Springs to join our General Tree Care Team. You will perform pruning, removals, and cabling while climbing safely using ropes, saddles, and ladders. Experience with chainsaws and aerial lifts is essential to maintain the health and beauty of clients' landscapes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.
• Authorization to work legally in the U.S.
• Passion for working outdoors and environmental stewardship.
• Experience with tree care equipment and safety standards.
• Proficient pruning techniques for trees and shrubs.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality tree care services, including pruning, removals, and cabling.
• Climb trees safely using ropes, saddle, and ladders; operate equipment effectively.
• Apply ANSI A300 pruning standards and ANSI Z safety guidelines.
• Maintain communication with team and clients, ensuring safety and quality.
• Assist in tree removals using ropes, spikes and safe takedowns.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before, during, and after each job.
