Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber with CDL to join our General Tree Care Team. You will perform pruning, removals, cabling, and safe climbing to protect our clients' landscapes. Experience with chainsaws and aerial lifts helps you excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid US driver’s license required.
• CDL A or B license required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Passion for outdoor work and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality tree care such as pruning, removals, and cabling.
• Climb trees safely using proper techniques, ropes, and saddle.
• Operate chainsaws and aerial lifts (bucket trucks) safely.
• Apply ANSI pruning standards and safety guidelines.
• Ensure proper pruning cuts to preserve tree health and structure.
• Assist in removals with safe takedowns.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before, during, and after jobs.
• Maintain communication with team and clients to ensure safety.
• Take ownership and contribute to a safety-focused culture.
