WeDriveU in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Transit Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for passengers across a range of vehicles, including paratransit vans and shuttles. The role starts as a Driver Trainee with comprehensive training and advancement opportunities.

Candidates must be at least 21, hold a CDL B with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements, and pass safety and drug screening. The position is on-site with competitive hourly pay and benefits dependent on location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (25 if Tennessee School Bus Driver per state law).
• Must possess or obtain a valid state license to operate company vehicles.
• Must possess a CDL B with Passenger and Airbrake endorsement.
• Must pass safety screening and attend trainings; safety-sensitive role with random testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation to passengers using various vehicle types.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle is safe before operation.
• Be punctual and keep to assigned routes, maintaining safety at all times.
• Assist passengers in boarding/alighting and provide assistance as needed for accessibility.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Keep vehicle clean and presentable, and present a neat, professional appearance.
