Job summary

Transdev in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to ensure safe, reliable transportation with a focus on customer service. You will operate designated routes, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and assist passengers with care and safety throughout the journey.

The role requires a valid CDL Class B with passenger endorsement, at least 3 years of driving experience, and the ability to work flexible schedules. Union pay scale applies with progression to higher rates over time.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement required.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical per DOT regulation.

Responsibilities

• Safety‑Focused Operations: Follow routes and schedules with strict safety adherence.
• Passenger Care: Assist passengers, ensure comfortable rides and timely disembarkation.
• Vehicle Vigilance: Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Adherence to Protocols: Enforce seat belt use, emergency procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.
