The Transit Driver role requires a CDL B with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements, strict adherence to safety, and excellent customer service. We offer extensive training and a pathway from Driver Trainee to driver roles, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess or obtain valid state license and certifications to operate company vehicles.
• Must pass physical/medical requirements and substance abuse screening.
• Extensive knowledge of traffic rules and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation to passengers using position-specific vehicles.
• Report maintenance issues per company procedure.
• Drive on-time while maintaining safety.
• Assist passengers during boarding and deboarding.
• Keep vehicle clean and presentable; present a professional appearance.
• Complete required paperwork promptly (route sheets, time cards, repair requests).
• Maintain cooperative attitude with staff, customers and passengers.
