Job summary

Dot Foods Inc. is seeking a professional CDL driver to safely transport products to customers and distribution centers. The role involves loading/unloading when needed, reading load paperwork, and managing routes to meet delivery schedules with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will work across varying schedules with regular home time, benefiting from activity-based pay after training and opportunities for advancement within a large food industry consolidator.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Class A CDL permit prior to first day of employment.
• Ability to pass Class A CDL test within three attempts.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• Ability to pass a Physical Ability Test (PAT).
• Ability to communicate in English as required by FMCSA regulations.
• Commitment to safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport product from Dot Foods suppliers to customers and distribution centers.
• Load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods when required; no-touch freight roles may be available.
• Read and understand load paperwork and product packaging descriptions.
• Manage routes, schedules, and deliveries to meet service expectations.
• Monitor fuel usage, idle time, and speed to support efficient operations.
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety policies.
