APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a CDL Trainee in Arkansas. You will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, assist with loading, monitor gauges, and help maintain logs while following strict safety procedures. The role requires a CDL B permit, DOT medical card, and successful background checks.
You must be 18+ and able to work up to six days per week with significant overtime. Training for CDL Class B license will be provided along with PPE and safety guidelines.

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles with proper documentationin accordance withDOT guidelines.
Assistwith loading and unloading materials and equipment.
Monitor vehicle gauges during operation andmaintainaccuratemileage logs.
Always follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Adhere to applicable laws and dispatch instructions.
Ensure product quality through proper handling procedures.
Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; escalatemajor issuesto supervisors.
Keep vehicles clean and organized.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Complete othertasks asassigned by management.
High school diploma or GEDrequired.
Mustobtain a CDL B Permit from the local DMV.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to obtain a valid CDL permit.
Successful completion of DOT physical, drug screening, and criminal backgroundcheck.
Possession of a valid DOT medical card.
Strict adherence to safety standards and company policies.
Teamplayerwilling toassistco-workers and supervisors as needed.
Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy to colleagues and the public.
Maintain a current driver’s license meeting state and company requirements (CDL, Class B).
Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet company and DOT standards.
Ability to work up to six days per week, including significant overtime (55-70 hours/week), per DOT readymixexemption laws.
Willingness to travel and work away from home asrequired.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying schedules.
Commitment to training employees with a CDL Class B license, even if they lack driving experience.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by OSHA/MSHA, including faceshield, safety shoes, and safetyvest.

Basic reading, writing, and math skills for records and project documents.
